Located close to Uji's Byodo-in, this authentic teahouse (Taiho-an) is housed in a charming wooden pavilion. Its vocation is to make better known the rules that codify the tea ceremony down to the minutest detail. Honseki, hiroma-chaseki and ritsurei-seki accompany this valued ritual.
A tea house operated by Uji City for visitors to enjoy authentic ujicha tea. Tea Ceremony Association teachers make tea using traditional methods. Visitors do not have to know anything about the tea ceremony to enjoy their experience. (Also, sencha tea days are held several times a month)

對鳳庵在釜，初春和菓子，茶銘千代之昔，象徵新年吉祥的茶道具，松，鶴長壽，真吉利！喝完茶仍要來享用培茶冰淇淋才滿足！
午後一點半之後冷天站著加上又排隊了一個小時，好奇到底有什麼值得排隊的呢？店員輪流出來招呼，拿毛毯，拿菜單，熱茶，本來要放棄了！看到後面又是一排人龍，繼續堅持排下去，裡面店員超團結的，工作士氣很強，坐在櫃臺看店員們炸天婦羅煮烏龍麵挺有趣的，食物上桌後，哇！很值得！特別的是炸土牛蒡，特別口感，烏龍麵好吃又大碗，回家想來嘗試一下做做看，店員不斷問候食物ok嗎？充滿熱情的一家店，找到值得排隊的答案了！
