設計說明
The Johor–Singapore Causeway is a 1,056-metre causeway that links
the city of Johor Bahru in Malaysia across the Straits of Johor to the town of Woodlands in Singapore. It serves as a road and rail link, as well as water piping into Singapore. This is a relatively young border which built in 1923. It only became highly significant in 1965 when Singapore became an independent sovereignty.

Nevertheless, the border link between Singapore and Malaysia forms the cultural and economic tie between the two countries. Singapore is one of the most affluent countries in the world. As a result, the strong border interdependence across the border often coexists with the problematic bilateral relationship.

The aim of the project is to introduce a multifunctional bridging infrastructure that blends the gap between two countries to generate an unprecedented synthesis between urbanity and the experience of country crossing.
